Matariki march

Today we paraded our Matariki masks around the field to celebrate Matariki and have fun with the whole school!

We were separated in to colours of Matariki:

 Matariki – Red,  Waiti – Green,  Waita – Blue, Waipuna-a-rangi – Black

Tupu-a-nuku – Purple, Tupu-a-rangi – Orange and  Ururangi – Yellow.

We made our masks the colour of our Matariki star.

In the afternoon we watched the Kapa haka group perform! They were amazing to watch!
