Making Maori Bread!!!!

Today we made Maori Bread as part of our Matariki learning!
We used scone mix and water.
Mrs Manu started the process by making a big mess, then slowly, it all came together to make dough.
We all had a turn kneading.
It was gooey, but lots of fun!
I think Room 18 have some future Bakers   as we did such an excellent job!
After kneading, we cut up the dough and added it to a small fry pan of oil where it turned a lovely golden brown. We waited for it to cool down, then gobbled it up!
It tasted delicious! 
I hope we can make it again and roll the bread in cinnamon and sugar as a special treat!
